A few of Dr. Teitelbaum’s out-of-town patients stay at a friend’s home, some stay in a hotel with a friend or relative accompanying them, and others will travel to Los Angeles for their plastic surgery on their own. If someone is on their own, or if they have a surgery such as a tummy tuck or a facelift, then they will need to go to Serenity aftercare center for between one and three days.
The Peninsula Beverly Hills
One of LA’s most luxurious hotels with unparalleled guest services. It is the favorite hotel of Dr. Teitelbaum’s many European patients. From an exciting bar to a great pool to perfect service, there is no going wrong by staying here. Depending upon traffic, the hotel can be between fifteen and forty-five minutes from the office.

Just across the street from the office and next door to Serenity after care, the Ambrose is the most convenient hotel for patients traveling to see Dr. Teitelbaum. That is particularly helpful for people who have come alone or who do not have a car with them. Many others like the sense of being across the street from the office. It is small and does not have all the guest services of the larger hotels, but it is incredibly comfortable and all of Dr. Teitelbaum’s patients who have stayed there love it.

The Bel Air reopened in the Fall of 2011 after a very long and expensive renovation. This is the most quaint, quiet, and peaceful of Los Angeles’ many luxury hotels. One feels as if they are in another world when at the Bel Air. There is no typical hotel building there; it is just a sprawl of one and two story buildings that are hidden by many trees. This is the perfect place for those desiring an elegant old-Hollywood atmosphere with the most current luxury and amenities. Depending upon traffic, the hotel can be between fifteen and forty-five minutes from the office.

If you want to have crisp white sheets with a view of the Pacific Ocean in a luxury hotel, then this is the place. While not quite as luxurious as the Bel Air or Peninsula, Shutters still has excellent guest services. This is the choice for even Dr. Teitelbaum’s most discriminating patients who want to recognize that by coming to Santa Monica for plastic surgery they are indeed in a beach town. It is only about five or ten minutes from the office.

The Beverly Hills Hotel and Bungalows
This is the most iconic of the Beverly Hills hotels, with a great restaurant, pool, and the famous Polo Lounge. All rooms and services are great, but the private bungalows are without peer in Los Angeles for patients who want to have the ultimate. This is a favorite of patients accustomed to mega yachts and the highest luxury in the world. Depending upon traffic, the hotel can be between fifteen and forty-five minutes from the office.

This is down the street from the office and it provides the modest but reliable service you would expect from a Best Western. Its convenience and price make it a very common choice for patients seeing Dr. Teitelbaum who need a local hotel.
